I love the New York Times!! largely because of articles such as this:

Oh yeah, what about truffles? They cost like billions of dollars. Or something. Ok, maybe not billions. But I can't afford truffles. And it takes specially trained pigs and dogs to find them! So there is a special finder's fee involved. True story.
ya...expensive fungus, even i can't explain that one away.
I think the table is again even.
Are truffles really made out of fungus besides other things. Creepy, since I enjoy eating truffles every Saturday. Whaaa :( Maybe I will have to give them up

err i believe you're referring to truffles the chocolate? cause truffles the mushroom are very different...though tye appear somewhat similar.
