i can't stop smiling....:)!

i have had the most amazing day! happy navaratri! i was trying to register for this class in a community college...long story short- had to take the class this sem so i could take it's followup next sem so that i could go to gouri's wedding in india!!! all week i've been trying for this class, and all week i've been told that it's impossible to get in to that there is no space, etc... and today- the head of the physics dept there, calls me and says "sadhu (ok, she called me sadhana...) i registered you for the class!" I wrote to her and told her that my best friend was getting married and i really really want to get into this class- so when she saw that another student had dropped out, she automatically signed me up :) people are so sweet. i swear, i was so dejected on wednesday when found out that i might not be able to go next summer, but now...ahhhhh.
THEN these guys- ali, ed, arun are so incredibly sweet. ali wrote me a note on a dollar and gave it to me for my brithday- it was such a sweet note, actually as simple as the present was, it really touched me. i love it :) and then ed and arun brought me flowers and chocolate...mmmm chocolate, nothing i love more than that- well, almost nothing. and i started tearing up, my friends are incredibly wonderful and thoughtful and just delicious! i think, more than the gifts themselves- they have given me something i'll cherish even more. I'd met these guys before, but only really got to know them this semester, and i really adore them all- their antics and conversations brighten my day incredibly! so thank you guys very very much for the sweet, adorable gifts- but more for your friendship, i'm a better person because of it. :)
